There are about 65 million refugees worldwide. Charlotte, North Carolina is a major destination for the refugees resettled into the United States. They come from major conflict areas around the world. Rising Tides will tell the story of the organizations and schools that are successfully integrating families into this community. We hope to inform our audience and inspire us all to get more involved in this process, one that will become increasingly necessary in the 21st century.
